Have you considered starting or expanding a makerspace?  Two years ago our school received an innovations grant and we implemented a K-12 makerspace.  In this session we will share the process we went through to get our space up and running and our rationale for why we are focusing on innovation and creativity.  We will share projects and challenges that we have completed and participants will get hands-on experience with tools currently used in our makerspace.  Funding, supplies, and community partnerships will be covered.  Learn what worked for us (and what we would do differently).
